I need some bits and bobs for my MT07 - tail tidy, bar ends, replacing rusty bolts etc.

I've not bought parts online before. Any suggestions as to the most reliable supplier?

Ta.

If you want genuine Yamaha, Fowlers. They have fiches online, plenty of stock, quick and helpful.

Pro bolt for bolts or eBay if you can measure them yourself. Evo tech, R&G for tail tidy etc or wemoto might be worth a look too

Fowler’s are good for OE parts, but before you order, double check their eBay shop.

I’ve found the last few times that is cheaper than their website.

Evotech do a decent tail tidy and crash bungs for the MT range.

I buy the vast majority of stuff off ebay

Fowlers / M&P / Busters etc are all on there

Pleeeeease don’t get one of those awful things that just look like the plate is hanging off the bottom of the tailpiece - they just look so cheap and nasty; how that is meant to improve the look of the original is a mystery to me. Evotech all the way.

R&G produce some really quite offensive ones…

Fowler's, Wemoto and R&G as already mentioned, plus Yambits as it's an MT-07

I find most of the OEM ones visually offensive, the type you hate is my preferred option laugh

This! I like their kit.

That said, I don't really know what you mean about tail tidies - the Evotech MT07 one looks like this:
https://evotech-performance.com/collections/yamaha...

R&G like this:
https://www.rg-racing.com/browsebike/Yamaha/MT-07_...

What's the difference?

In fairness I'd pay £15 extra not to have R&G stamped on the light.

The extended bracket on the R&G is crap too

Yeah 100%, I'd always pick Evotech having had a few of their bits now. Just Dog was saying he didn't like the floaty plate style, which they all are I think?

Ebay all the way plus the odd search on gumtree to see who is selling the accessories they took off their bike before they sold it; I have had barely used titanium exhausts for £50 before!
