I need to take some teenage boys to London for a few days. They have done Madame Tussauds, James Bond exhibition and the Science museum.

Any suggestions for things to do for a couple of hours please?

I like the sound of this, but my initial Google doesn't throw up any results.

Google "Thames speed boat" - a couple of operators.

Get on a Thames cruiser at embankment and make your way up to the river towards docklands. Get off at the Emirates cable car and take it across the river and back then take the boat back to where you started.

If you like walking you can do the London Eye then walk along the Southbank to the Tate Modern. Cross the Millennium Bridge over to St Pauls then make your way back to Embankment.

I've often taken visitors on both trips. Plenty to see. Plus you can stop off at loads of places if you want.

In addition to a number of good suggestions already made, I'd add:

Go-Boat trip on Regents Canal

Imperial War Museum

Cabinet War Rooms

National Army Museum

London Eye

Walk around Covent Garden/ Carnaby At/ iconic West-End sites

If they're petrol heads, you could plan a route round London's high end car showrooms
