Hi all,

I've been away from biking for 3 years after having litre sports bikes for about 5 years before that.

This means that I seem to have lost 5 years no claims bonus and despite being 50, am being quoted £2k plus as the cheapest fully comp on some bikes.

I used to be with Bennetts, if I rang them would they take into account that I had a clear NBC before stopping biking for 3 years?

I doubt it but wondered what experiences/ advice.

3rd party was still more than £2k, so only option may be to go for an older/cheaper bike. frown

Bennetts as your prior broker may be able to find an underwriter that could be flexible but generally NCDs expire after 24 months
