Hi guys!

I'm in search of an active car subwoofer improve stock stereo system, which has to be relatively compact yet powerful (at least 150w RMS) with wired remote bass control.
Any recommendations? Maybe any of you already has it, so please share your suggestions.

Cheers

Any underseat sub would do; KSC-SW11 is rather cheap, easy and decent.

I had a Pioneer TS-WX610A in my Celica.
Fits inside of a full size spare wheel so great if your car has one.

Not sure of the RMS but I believe it's 200W peak power.
Worked well with the stock sound system and balanced it out nicely.

Here's a link to it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003USW08E/ref=cm_sw_r...

Not sure of the availability of them now, bought mine around 3 years ago.

Also, a lot of cars have Bose spare wheel subwoofers, might be worth researching those and seeing if they can be modified to work with your car's sound system.

I would personally go for an under seat sub if you're tight on space. You can even get two, one under each front seat if you want. Something like this, pick your favourite brand, the Alpine/Pioneer/Kenwood offerings are much of a muchness in this price range.

They will never go deep like a proper big sub in a box in the boot, but those aren't exactly compact! I've also been pleasantly surprised by just how much a difference an under seat sub makes subjectively given that you can feel some of the frequencies more through the seat.
