R.E.M Concert

Anyone else here see R.E.M at Hyde Park on Saturday?

Was a really good night first time ive seen them live been wanting to for years and finally did it.

They even brought out Patti Smith to sinf E-Bow the Letter.

The only bad thing is that i think Hyde Park is a crap concert venue too flat and from where we were could only see the big screens couldnt make out anything on the stage.
Annoyingly you could also see the big screens from outside the venue so if you just travelled to Hyde Park could have had a free show!

No, but I did see them in Hull on the 5th July.
Absolutley brilliant despite a torrential downpour. Never seen them live before and was persuaded by my son to go. I'm so glad I brought him up to have good taste in music!

Borris, I'm ashamed to say I've been a fan since Document 20 years ago and this was my first time. They were fabulous. Much better even than I had dared hope. We were not close, but at least close enough to see the guys on stage (a long way in front of the screens).
