This appears to be one of the nearest track days to me,
is it any good, and who do I contact for details?
Cheers all

Personally, I think it's pretty crap.

The road surface is crap, bits of weeds, loose stones, all sorts. Also, the circuit is 'ill-defined' so there aren't clear apexes to clip etc.

Not that exciting a circuit anyway. Only good thing is maxing it on the straight. I managed 140 in the rain in a BMW M3. Could do better, but the road surface was putting me off.

Only other benefit is tons of run off. Quite safe from that point of view.

Was speaking to someone this morning who reckons they've now got thousands of lorries parked around the edge of the track. They used to store cars there and it would seem that lorries provide even more income. Apparently that's left not a lot of run-off.

As Dom said, it's also a crap surface and not much of a circuit.

Get to Donington or somewhere instead.

Hi Rich,
I agree with the others it is also bloody expensive!
The airfield that we have got is very easy to get to from the motorway and appears to be well suited to our purpose. Will let you know more after tomorrows run.
Cheers
