Just read the BBC News re the move to E10 from E5 petrol where the percentage of ethanol is to increase. E5 will still be available in Super derivative but does anyone know if running E10 consistently will damage the engine. Any thoughts as TVR isn’t on the manufacturers guidance list.

Your engine will run weak on E10,if you want to run E10 it will need a remap. If you remap it,it will run rich on E5.
Running weak= increased cylinder head and piston temperature, burnt valves, melted pistons, engine blow ups.Unless you pootle about at half throttle all the time,Avoid E10.
Best to use Esso Supreme 99+ unleaded.officially E5, but actually ethanol free in the southeast and midlands.
