If any one is trying to replace a worn Honda Civic gear knob, I managed to source a reproduction one on eBay for only £12 with free shipping. I thinks it looks good and lifts the interior.

Thanks, thats what Ive been looking for. Mine looks like the previous owner chewed it

Mine had worn all the paint/lacquer off down to the plastic and the leather insert was worn smooth. The only very minor setback I encountered was the plastic cover for the base didn't fit on the lugs which wasn't a problem, I simply cut the lugs off with snips and superglued the cover onto the gear knob, you can't tell the difference.
