Looking for an exige owner
Discussion
Hi all,
My fiancée has always fancied the idea of an exige, but we haven't yet pulled the trigger and I believe that orders for new cars are going to stop being taken soon. So we don't want to miss out.
However, this would be a jump from her current RX8 and without making a trip down south then we can't be certain that this is a good idea. We're local to Perth and happy to travel, but we're hoping that there is somebody up here that would like to share their experience over a pint/coffee?
Thanks in advance

You're probably best getting onto TLF the Lotus Forums and the Scottish sub-forum. There certainly used to be fairly regular meets, and normally relatively central.
I went to one a few years back and people happy to chat and a variety of cars to look at so I suspect the best bet depending on what impact Covid has had on these.
it's a good forum for general advice etc if you haven't come across it before.

Parks in Hamilton are Lotus dealers next to the Mini center in Almada st
Don’t go there if you own a Lotus or need advice or any semblance of Lotus knowledge. God forbid you need to put your car in there for any work. If you want to know about Lotus speak to Craig Moncrieff Cars in Edinburgh. If you need an approved Lotus garage go South of the border rather than use these guys would be my advice.

You will probably be able to pick up one a dealer specced, but I doubt you can actually order a new factory build to your own spec.
The new Emira launches in about 2 weeks or so.
