Does anyone know the legal position if the finance company that provide a personal contract hire car fail to take monthly payments despite me having sufficient cleared funds and sending them emails to notify them that there is a problem?

Has this been for some time? Or is it that it’s been this month? Keeping in mind that Monday was a bank holiday and a direct debit can take up to 3 days to be taken from your bank from when the company submits the request for it. It then takes 10 working days to clear at the receiving company.

Has been 3 months and each month I email their customer services and either get no response or a reply to say that everything is fine.

Have you tried the old fashioned human to human method ?

Perhaps picking up a phone and actually speaking to someone might help ?

My daughter has had the same problem the last 3 months.
She's called them and paid them over the phone.

They will eventually realise their error and take all the payments at once, if its VWFS it would be worth checking your credit score to make sure they are not issuing default notices - they have form for being completely incompetent
