Good afternoon, going to buy one of these and can get for the same price as the 6LA is discounted to just under £1700.

What is the difference between the two and which one should I go for? Mainly to be used for Sky/Netflix and a little bit of Nintendo Switch play.

Forgot to mention, I’m not really interested in sound performance as it will be wired up to external speakers.

I have the OLED65CX5LB - and it is stunning. It has been out a while though.
Have Netflix, Disney+, Amazon, Britbox, Itv hub, BBC Iplayer - have Apple Mac mini and and Apple TV connected into it.
Oh and it has airplay 2. - I just played movies directly from my Iphone to the telly ( no need to use Mac or Apple TV )

The other one looks like a brand new product and comparing them on Richer Sounds - it appears to be a higher spec.

The OLED65A16LA seems to be a newer model.

I have a little time to kill to compare.

The OLED65CX5LB just rocks. But if the newer model has knobs on - I would punt for that.

OK - It is easy to compare features on Richersounds.

Click here - and select both models.
https://www.richersounds.com/tv-projectors/4k-ultr...

The LG OLED65A16LA is a newer model.

It has:
1 less HDMI input.
Screen refresh rate is lesser at 50Hz instead of 100Hz of the OLED65CX5LB
The Quad core processor is of a lesser level - but newer ( I have no idea how that pans out.)
It has 1 less USB

You pays your money - you takes your choice.

Pop into your local Richersounds and compare.
I am delighted with mine.
