Built from 1999 to 2003, we'll have a chat on sunday about prices etc. A lot of people seem to be advertising these cars at well over trade prices. Best thing to do is find someone who is trading up to the new E60 M5 and give them a little more than the trade in offered by the garage.

www.amdtechnik.com are a bit of a trek (Bicester)...
IIRC I saw an article in Evo about DMS tinkering with them, but not sure where they are based (or was it the diesel?)
Daz - you got the tubi yet...?

Still sad to see the DB9 go...?
Hi Podie
Not really. In 13 months and 13,000 miles, I've driven across the Scottish Highlands, driven across The Swiss and Italian Alps, Topped the car out at 187mph (on a private airfield of course), been to Le Mans and watch my car raced.
So you could say I've somewhat used it.
I do love the '9' for continent crushing and touring, but I miss the ability to chuck it around corners sideways. Ok some PH member may dissagree with that (after Eurohoon), but it's still a big heavy GT.
The V8 is MY ideal car. An Aston, with great handling (i hope) as good if net better than Porsche.
I will miss the noise of the V12, but after hearing the V8 at Goodwood. I won't miss it that much

Shady, Its not worth tuning the 330i. Not much power can be liberated, and it will cost you loads to do it.
Buy an M5
Supercharger, about $6k .....
Gotta be worth a shot. There's a swedish company that do em - www.koperformance.com/BMW/turbo_superchargers/index.htm
Stu, the 3.0 M54 responds very well to a supercharger and there are some huge gains in torque and power available (to humble said M's).
Happy to recommend an ESS kit (which I had fitted by NS Racing in Edgeware).
15000 miles so far and going pretty well on my M52 2.8 running very modest boost (6 p.s.i. gives me 285 bhp). Upgrading to 7 p.s.i. soon with an intercooler.
BMW did a Schnitzer 330s, which was auto only but stopped it after 6 months on sale. Not sure if it was humbling too many M3's!

If you seriously want a lot of extra oomph from the 330 I suggest you try www.birds.uk.com . They can get you 330BHP for £8000ish or 286BHP for £3000ish.
They're based in Uxbridge.
