Car parking/storage periodically/informally outside Paris

I am probably moving to Paris with work in September and am looking into possible car storage. I will be living in central Paris where having a car is not really viable. However, I would like to have access to my car from time to time for road trips and exploring outside the city. I would be looking to keep the car in the UK and just have it out in France for a few days or weeks at a time maybe.

I wondered if anyone had access to or knew of any locations that would fit the above description. The car in question would be a Porsche Boxster 986. Payment on a when used basis would be preferable obviously and a safe or secure area.

Alternatively, if anyone has any suggestions for good safe on street free parking within a reasonable (less than hour) journey from central Paris?

Probably not convenient for you as it's a bit out of the way (they will pick you up and drop you off at T2 CDG though which helps) but I've used Parking Roissy Voyage in the past to store my new at the time Jaguar XF, I provided a car cover and battery maintenance C-TEK and you can choose interior or exterior storage, I think they will negotiate for a longer term arrangement, I only used it for 3-4 months at a time though.
