ZVox Soundbar with Accuvoice - does it really work

I'm looking for a soundbar to go with my Sony 49" TV - the only purpose of the soundbar is to improve the clarity of dialogue - mostly when watching films on Prime or Netflix. I am limited to a width of 91cm.
I bought a Sony HT-SF200 and I'm not impressed with it at all - it's supposed to be good for dialogue, but it doesn't really make any difference.
The other thing that's really important to me is keeping the sound and picture in-sync. With the Sony soundbar I've got, lipsync is fine when watching Netflix or Prime, but slightly out when watching normal TV - which is massively annoying.
I've seen a "review" of the ZVox AV157 and apparently it uses some proprietary technology to boost dialogue and dial back background noise. Has anyone seen / used one of these? If so, does it really work. Or - does anyone have any recommendations for a soundbar that improves the clarity of dialogue?
