FN2 Prices 2021

As a serial facebook market place/ Gumtree browser, I've noticed the prices of Civic Type Rs have risen a lot since the Covid outbreak. EP3s I would say are now frequently more expensive than FN2s, which is the one I would probably go for as a daily driver. I am not sure if its lack of supply due to lockdown, or just because these are on the "modern classic bandwagon" along with the likes of the Clio 182/Peugeot 306 GTI6 type stuff which has gone up a lot lately. Anyway, cutting to the chaste, I've seen a 1 owner 2008 FN2 advertised for £5995. I am sure this car would have been advertised at £3995 18 months ago, but anyway it is what it is. Do you folks think that is overpriced, or just a reflection that all VTEC engined Hondas are going up at the moment? The car in question has 86000 miles, full service history and is actually noted on Autotrader as being "expense"... but it is the only example for sale within a 30 mile radius and a one owner car which is rare with a hot hatch ! All used cars have gone up recently so I believe it’s just a reflection of the market.
