HELP newbie buying an MPV
Discussion
Hi all. So i am an absolute noob when it comes to cars. I know the basics of maintaining a car (oil change etc.) but that's about it.
I am looking to get myself an MPV ( a van with seats and windows basically) to use as a personal vehicle and also parcel delivery and taxi work.
I went to check some of these "vans" on the market right now and i can't decide between these 3:
Ford Turneo Custom; Toyota Proace Verso; Peugeot Traveller.
Can anybody give any advice on which one is better and why? Maybe somebody had/has one of them and can share the experience of using one? Running costs, reliability etc? Any advice will be much appreciated. My budget is £20,000 with a little wiggle room. Preferences: low mileage, the more space the better.
P.S. sorry if posted this in the wrong section, could not find any "help" section

You might want to check on the leasing thread bud and think about that as an option. Then you have a warranty for at it least 3 years, if you get something with servicing as well it would be hassle free.

This would cost you 13k for 3 years including vat at 10k miles a year. Lots of space for suitcases and a family for airport runs etc.

I would assume that given the vehicle is going to be used for parcel deliveries and taxi work, the OP is likely to exceed 10k miles per year.I'd be tempted to look at a Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro and Nissan NV300, which are all the same van. Believe it or not, the 1.6-litre engine is more than up to the job, and you should be able to get a very nicely spec'd one for well within budget.

The Toyota & Peugeot are the same vehicle & seem popular the Transits are good but pricey, I am looking to get myself an MPV ( a van with seats and windows basically) to use as a personal vehicle and also parcel delivery and taxi work.

One well worth a look is the Hyundai i800 you get a 5 year 100k warranty:

I looked at these but could not find one with easily detachable seats. The ones i've found were with bolted seats that need unscrewing. For me that's not an option since i will be taking them out alot. Could you link a few examples ?ZX10R NIN said:

I considered The Hyundai but again the seats need to be unscrewd to be removed which is too much of a hassle for me since i will be doing that almost every day.https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202102269...
