So I have NEVER consider PCP or leasing or car etc as I have always bought cash/credit card etc.

However I am now open to the idea for various reasons and just getting my head around it all. Have been comparing a few options and just specced up a 3.0 supra and the deal is on at 0% and £349/month.

Appreciate the Guaranteed final value will have a big impact on whether this is a good deal but this does seem cheap as a monthly. Am I missing something here?

If it's the offer on the Toyota website then you haven't shown the £11568 deposit?

https://www.toyota.co.uk/new-cars/supra/supra-pro-...

You can get a nearly new for around £45k now so a good saving. I'm keeping my eyes on them as I'd quite like to own one in a year or two.

What finance rate would you be getting on the £45k though?
The overall cost might be pretty close with the FDA and dealer discounts on a new one.

Anyone know of a good Toyota dealer offering a tempting discount on a new Supra on top of the current finance offers? Preferably North West, but happy to travel off not.

Cheers

How much are thinking? Did you have a target figure at which you will place an order?

I was thinking as much under 50k as possible with metallic for the 3.0 Pro would be tempting to place an order in the next week.

Most dealers (like where I work) will need a figure to work with, you’re looking for in excess of £5k off list.

If you said “I’ll place an order if you can get to £49,800”
I’ll ask the question for you!

(To give you an idea, I sold one last week at £51K and that was a strong deal!)

Yes, I am looking to place an order. If I could get to £49,500 I would be happy to place the order tomorrow.

Is your dealership able to work with that figure?

Just too far I’m afraid, the £2,000 finance deposit allowance is paid for by the dealer, so I have approx £4500 to play with in total, but I can’t do the discount plus the deposit allowance.

Ok. No worries, even a Carwow quote is coming in a few hundred over £50k, and presumably they are paying them their usual fee on top.

£50k is a psychological hurdle, and if as your £49800 sentence above was available, at least that would deal with that issue.

All the best

This is correct, sales managers want commitment to buy..
As in if I can do that are you giving me a deposit now?

I am now looking at these but am more tempted by the used ones at £40k. I feel it is more suited to my needs than my current GR Yaris as I am doing big mileage at the moment.
