Looks like the bombers were Brits. I have an acquaintance who was pals with some of the Tipton Taliban. He told me they were a bunch of w*nkers who couldn't play football, couldn't get a bird and threw up when they had a pint. Depressed and marginalised they spent more and more time at the Mosque.

Remember Columbine? Friendless deadbeats who imagined themselves into Angels of Death. Motivated by a lack of motivation. Lack of direction. Lack of... Lack of.

So... are the enemies just deadbeats? The British, post-colonial, second-generation equivalent of the Trenchcoat Mafia? Or, something else?

These perps are probably directionless, angry people giving purpose and drive to their angst by identifying with incendiary words against the War Against Terror. It's similar to the attitude that drives lunk-headed nitwits to pick up placards and chase paediatricians out of their homes, or murder someone because their brother might have been a nonce. People imagine themselves into being less meaningless than they actually are once they get a cause to identify with, to put them squarely in the right.

That sounds like me too! Strangely enough though, I've never felt the urge to explode myself on a packed public transport conveyance.

As far as I'm concerned, there's not much we can do about these people doing what they're doing, and believing what they believe. All we can do is step up security and hope for the best.

Which is why we need to find the recruiters. The right hand men of the vile mouth pieces. The shadows, traitors with open arms.

This is where mi5/6 is needed. In the youth clubs, round the corner from the mosque or wherever these lowlife skulk.
Get out from your desk and get in the bloody field FFS!

These people aren't THAT clever.
WE CAN DESTROY THEM!

Getting angry now...grrr

(un?)fortunately we haven't had a war which kills off most of the loosers recently. So not being worth anything as you say they decide to be somebody by doing something daft.

Lets start by screening anybody who's been to the dodgyier parts of the world for "religious education", and deciding if were going to let them back in. Lets face it it's a bit like saying "I went to XXX country to become a walking time bomb". Then we ban religious education establishments in the UK. Church schools my arse, it's a school or a church you cant have both.

Ok they'll find someother front to hide behind (because lets face it it's not really about religion, it's about crappy society), but hopefully we can keep up with them.

We could always (shock, horror) try and put a stop to people being able to incite racial hatred. In many cases, it's well known that some oif these people stand in their mosques and tell their followers to "fight the west", and "kill the infidels", despite in some cases, living here and claiming asylum with their 25 children, living in council houses and claiming dole. All for FREE!

Ya know, it might be a good idea to actually stop these sick barstools from encouraging others to stick a couple of bits of Cemtex down their trousers and get on a bus. We could always deport them so they have to actually enter the country through a secure system in order to plot their evil plans.

Or am I being racist?

Not in my book. What your saying is Identify anybody who's trying to cause trouble and deal with them NOW. I dont care if it's the BNP planting bombs to blow up immigrants or asians planting bombs to blow up "the West".

Either way they need to be identified and then delt with.

You post is an exageration of stereotypes to put it kindly. There are no figures to suggest that there are a substantial amount of muslims entering this country under asylum. Most British muslims are past the first generation (now british born) so are as british as you and me (we cannot deport them anywere).

Your right about the preaching extremism though, i would hope our muslim countrymen (and women) can now see the real dangers that this kind of preaching causes, and do something about it.

If you're bonkers, you are bonkers regardless of whether you follow a Christian God, Allah or David Bloody Icke.

The HUGE majority of muslims are peaceful god fearing people.

Some people who drive sportscars drive them like tts, does this mean that all sports car drivers are tts?

Of course not so why apply a similar principal to followers of a religion?

That's sort of my point. These guys were not good Muslims at all. They were tts who, for resons of insecurity/social ineptitude started to resent the world around them, and were recruited by cynical extremists to do their dirty work.

My post was meant to be a little light hearted, but with a serious undertow; there are those who would take peoples' weaknesses and open the cracks wide enough to forge a weapon to be used against the rest of us. That's not to say the bombers/Taliban were not to blame themselves; everyone has choice.

Also, I just think that banning losers is a good idea, generally

We're not talking about Muslims here! we're talking about criminal murderers who are using Islam as a smokescreen to allow them to operate under a cloak of fear......

I realise I used extreme exaggeration and stereotyping, but the point is, we do know there are some people in this country whose (unpaid) job is inciting hatred (and I'm not only referring to 'Moslems', it could be ANYBODY - even the BNP)

Why are they allowed to continue to claim benefits, and live in free housing, when their intention is cause as much destruction as possible?

How can we lay the blamee like this firmly at the feet of the muslim community when they are british citizens as you have pointed out?
This is a national, no international problem that effects all of us and will have much bigger implications. ID cards only being the start.
the leaders of the muslim community live by different rules. The bombers twist things to suit themselves.
I donot believe that the Muslim leaders can do anymore than inform us of what they know.
We, as a nation must take some responsibility for this problem. NOT for their actions as that is ludicrouse.
If these were christian bombers would we leave it for the church of England to sort out???

Well apart from the Iraq war thing and a shady history in middle east, i don't see how we can accept blame. Especially in the case of these bombers, were we have 4 british born nationals. The state has given them everything, they had a life of limitless opportunity at their feet, all provided by our society; What more can our society have done ?

I agree with you whole heartedly on that point, it irks me to see people like hook handed abu-hamza (sp?) spouting crap in the press. This kind of behaviour should now be totally condemned and not supported by right to free speech; which i believe is now the case with the 'incitement of religious hatred' bill.

You have to put this in context though, for every one of him there are tens of thousands of totally normal muslims who think he is an idiot.

How depressing.

Why does everyone on here have to justify their comments/actions/recommendations in relation to the London bombings with the phrase "By the way, I am not a racist".

Since when did being a follower of Islam constitute being a member of a seperate race ? If I wanted to, I could become a Muslim tomorrow, or a Hindu, Buddhist or (heaven forbid) a practising Christian. As it is though, Im Anglo Saxon (since merely being "british" does not actually constitute a race does it ? After all the mere fact you have succesfully applied to have a passport & to become a resident of this country surely cannot change your genetic background/origin ?).

As it is, I view all people of a religous persuasion (particularly the more extreme, of which Islam does undeniably have a greater number) with a great deal of sceptiscm, which ofcours in view of New Labours proposed Law Reforms, will automatically make me a criminal.

Quite frankly if your stupid/misguided/naive/brainwashed (take your pick) enough to follow a way of life which is based purely upon "faith" & "teachings" as opposed to actual scientific fact, then it brings into question your entire perspective & reasoning on life & I for one would feel perfectly justified in taking the proverbial out of you.

How we all laughed when various States in America banned the teaching of the principles of Darwin & instead indoctrinated that God created Earth in 7 days. Whats the difference between that & banning the (justified) critiscm of religion & all that it stands for ?

Rant over, back to work.

The thing is if the Archbishop of Canterbury and said "Go forth from this place and wage war on the Asian Muslim infidels!" He'd have been removed from his position in about 5 minutes by the tens of thousands of normal christians. And probably locked up not much afterwards. Are we so scared of being called racist that we wont act in the countrys best interests?
