Lamba sensors

are they ford parts does anyone know and how much would you expect them to cost?

reference numbers are
90 GB 9F472 - AA IC15
MADE IN GERMANY 0258 003 122
163 151 12V

or
90 GB 9F472 - AA OD20
MADE IN GERMANY 0258 003 123
064 201 12V

A little bit worrying that they are notthe same number!!! anyone recognise this format?

Could someone with an SC3 stick their head under their bonnet and let me know the reference numbers on theirs.....

Have you tried calling your local ford dealer? - they should be able to tell you the correct number.
Or try your local friendly motorfactors - I'm sure you can get these sensors from them.

ditto. any time i've had probs getting bits i've always taken the bits off and shown them to my local factor. they usually can tell what it is if they know their stuff.

I am hoping there is a universal jobbie that isn't overly expensive as I need two..... just that the numbers are different on each.....


taken one off the car and will pop to the local guy tommorrow morning .... hopefully he will have them for the weekend.

I have just ordered the Lambda sensors form the local parts guy... had to go for Bosch originals as all the other brands out of stock.... I will post the new reference number when I get them so it can be added to the parts list......


£70 each

typical go to collect them and they are the wrong ones..... four wires not three..... I even took the old one in when I ordered.... muppets..


will have to wait until next week to try them now....

Did you not try cats-direct? Three wire universal units are only £21.60 from them.

wanted to get the same part as fitted if possible.....

Had bosch one on there so thought get Bosch again....

The ECU is so basic was concerned about not getting the specific Lambda for it..... hopefully it may last a few years as well...

got the new sensors today....... they were shipped in from Germany. :hairyarmpitbird:


certainly seem to have livened the car up a fair bit and it seems smoother ....

Thats all the new bits the car is getting for a while... had a run of things recently with service, tax. insurance ,new exhaust, lambda sensors, MAP sensor...£1400 gone just like that

Wouldn't be so bad if my wife didn't keep insisting on the same amount to spend on clothes

Next I am saving for new manifolds. Once they are done then the car should be ship shape to go to Austec to be chipped. Must do and water that money tree....
