Motorshow Enzo
Discussion
Excerpt from newly inaugurated Hertfordshire Ferrari newsletter:
Finally, talking of events, the Motor Show is at the NEC shortly. Tony Willis has said that, whilst Ferrari UK will not have a stand there this
year there will be an Enzo on display. This will be on a specially built stand from the SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) and Tony will be on the stand for the first couple of days.

Make sure its a real one though...
There was an excellent exhibit of avant garde italian car design at the Armory in Manhattan this last month which had an array of italian magnificence from the last 100 years. The piece de resistance was the Enzo, or at least it would have been if it wasn't a wooden mock-up (fully painted) sitting on real wheels. Shame really as there were some truly beautiful machines on display....

Saw several at the factory a few weeks ago, in various stages of completion so would expect something better than a mock up. Someone on the tour said that the comleted ones were 'test'cars not intended for customers. And I can't see Tony Willis setting himself up to spend two days alongside a clay mock up. Phone callto ferrari UK should sort it.

Is the exhibition still on?
Kev:
Just thought I'd ask and see if you fancied catching up. Not to worry.
The only problem with the NEC motorshow is all the souvenir bag carrying kids that get in the way
Still, it won't be long before my nipper is being dragged along (hopefully not kicking and screaming).
So what are the Autosport & Classic show all about then??? Anything interesting.
