What was your best ever car - not necessarily TVR
Discussion
OK Thanks to Boss Cerbera we have all shed our shame by naming our first and usually embarrassing motor.
So what was the best thing you ever owned? Might be unexpected and depend what you used it for.
eg
1. Best Motorway muncher my Lexus GS300
2. Best Performance car and pose-mobile - Tuscan - WITHOUT ANY QUESTION (and the motor didn't blow til I sold it)
3. Best all rounder Mitsubishi VR-4 Galant Est. Gets family up & down to the Med, useful in all weather and complete 'Q' car when surrounded by Chav-hatches, esp in wet = 275bhp plus 4WD.
4. Most surprising fun - Citroen Ami 8 super, ugly as f***, but great little air cooled boxer 4 engine and weighs as much as box of tissues.
OK lads & lasses what u got? Choose your own category too!

I've got to say my Audi A4 (1998), the most reliable (never broke), comfortable, satisfying workhorse I've ever driven.
I used to only empty the garbage from the passenger footwell when it started spilling over the seat!
The car just pulled and pulled, drank vegetable oil neat, didn't need new discs until 130000 miles, great on tyres, just superb all round.

Most Comfortable - Mercedes CLK 230 Kompressor Conv
Hairiest Car - TVR Tuscan S
Most Boring Car - Vauxhall Chevette
My Favourite Car - TVR Tuscan S (only just)
Most Unreliable Car - TVR Cerbera 4.5
Previously owned car I would buy today if I had the money - Mercedes CLK 230 Kompressor Conv (only because TVR doesn't have a presence here yet!)

Best all-rounder: Mercedes Benz 560SEL. The last of the great, engineered Mercs. If I had one car only, this would be it.
Best supercar: TVR Cerbera. My choice over any supercar at any money.
Best 'dream come true': Lamborghini Espada S3.
Best memories: Mk1 Granada and Tuscan Challenge racer.
