Tow tug breakdown- rescue service
Discussion
Just renewed my breakdown / rescue service and of course it is important for me to ensure that the caravan can also be transported home as well as the tow car. Looking around at the various providers I noted that they all seem to limit towing a caravan for more than ten miles from point of breakdown. Been with GEM for a number of years and they include, or implied they include, caravan tow home. When I received my policy I noted in the small print that they also limit caravan towing to ten mile limit from point of breakdown.
Who do you pay for your breakdown/ rescue?

RAC mayday. Includes special stuff for caravans so will take you and collect you to site if you breakdown on the way and return caravan to storage.
Green flag have a similar policy called mayday.
Do the RAC still have " Relay " Have a look at their website hey.Green flag have a similar policy called mayday.
Yes they still have relay or similar, but there are specific benefits for caravans on the arrival policy which are useful.
