Leboncoin scams?

Has anyone any experience of scams on Leboncoin? I have just used it trying to sell something and have received an offer which is a bit bizarre offering to arrange a DHL collection where the driver will give me an envelope with cash.

They are easy to spot though!

Mine went something like - he was far too busy working in Nigeria but it is a nice car so he will send me a cheque and when it has cleared a friend will come and collect. Just presume that the cheque is attached to elastic before it really clears.

Accept that they exist and treat them with the contempt that they deserve.

It`s rife with them!
When I was looking to buy an E Type it suddenly moved from South of Paris to Motherwell when I asked if I could view it. On another occasion I was looking to buy a JCB and the seller said he would deliver it 200Km for me to look at before buying. Don`t know how that was going to work.

Thanks for feedback. In this case I am selling something. The guy has set me a couple of mails to my private address and at the moment I am playing him to keep discussion on the leboncoin message system.
I will let it play out a little longer to be sure it is not a valid enquiry. I do not see way to flag it as a potential scam in the LBC system.

Yep, loads of them, two tried it on with me when I was selling bicycles. No different to any other online sales platform sadly.
