I have come to the conclusion that this medium, lacking body language and voice inflections, gets our points across just sufficiently to make us misunderstand each other enough to piss everybody off. Although some of us bicker a lot, I think in person we would get along better. I know that in person I am far more likeable...:)....or aggrevating, in any case you would get the whole package. Even people like Los Angeles, Havoc, Twit, etc., who would probably still disagree with me at argument's end, would find that we could end the day with a jibe and sharing a brew despite it all. Therefore, I propose we have a huge PH convention. If that is agreed upon, seeing that PH in mostly UK-centric, I forward the motion that it be in England. If this is good for all, suggest what city on Treasure Island would be best. We can show up with our PH names on our shirts for clarity. After Hurricane season, I can travel(after September). I am sincere about this, however, if it is a bad notion, tell me to take a jump. Thoughts please! Jim Ballow

Jimbeaux -

Black Tie and Pie is it. I attended in 2003 and it was, without a doubt, one of the best gatherings of like minded petrolheads that I have ever encountered. I'm planning on attending BTaP 2005 if I can sort my schedule (Thanksgiving and daughter's birthday withstanding)

Jimbeaux, may I suggest Central London? You'll be the only Yank there 'cos Big George says it's too dangerous for your soldiers there!

That's why my wife will be coming....she is from Honduras; they like fighting more than an Irishman.

That's understandable, I prefer fighting to liking an Irishman

The brake leg or the clutch leg? I need to know before getting in any car you were driving.

Both of those are OK. It is the other one that is slightly shorter.
