I am looking to have ATE master cylinder repaired, I believe it is a stepped design, and has significant corrosion so probably needs to be sleeved

I am considering sending it to either PastParts or NorthwestClassic, any thoughts?

How much is a new master cylinder?
How much to have the old one sleeved, plus seal kit?

Probably a silly question, but what is different on the rhd/lhd choices? Just pipe positions? Be simple to just alter/change them as needed if so ?

Yes, that is the backup plan

There is an similar price differential between RHD/LHD expansion tanks where that isn't an option, and the need is far more pressing

I have wondered whether a plastic weld might be possible, but I've been informed they are not very reliable

Aluminium replacements are available but at about £250
