Came up with this for a bit of fun....

All you have to do is drive round any town centre at about 8ish, and see how many chavs you can 'hook' in one go.

You can always guarantee a good supply of Novas, Saxos, Fiestas and I-don't-even-know-what-the-hell-they-are-cos-they've-got-so-much-bodykit-stuck-to-thems

You won't even have to try, they will follow. It's just a question of how many.

Lead them onto a decent bit of road, then you have some choices, any of which are fun, depending on your mood:-

a...let them zoom past to display how funny they look from all angles :biglaugh: - you can appreciate the 6" exhaust(s), the oil smoke, the way they 'bounce' down the road over the smallest bumps, etc...

b...let them do their pathetic best, while gradually increasing your own speed, then nail it and leave them in your dust just as they get level...

c...amuse yourself by making kissy faces at the obligatory blondie next to the baseball cap as they crawl past...

d...well, the possibilities are numerous!

Apologies if this comes across as a bit childish, but these forums have become more than a bit serious recently :grumpy: and, well, who can say, hand on heart, that they haven't done something similar?

[small]by the way, my record's four...[/small]

Seaside town promenades are the best - it's like driving fly paper - can pick up half a dozen in seconds in Torquay.

But the rules state you need a decent bit of road nearby.
Pretty much rules out Southend!

Bit of a trek to reach a good bit of the 127 eh?

agree Southend seafront too easy

A127 no trek

But Saturday evening just as easy as they tailgate in queues driving to the seafront

I had a 306 behind me just yesterday, at some lights

burble..burble...burble...burble

"REV IT!"

burble..burble..

"OI, REV IT"

Now, if he'd pipped his horn and shouted the same with a smile on his face I might have obliged, as it was I just ignored him completely. Besides, the temp gauge was still only at 70

Ive found in the Chim that hardly anyone is up for a race? Is it just a sign of respect? I did once have an R5 Turbo trying to overtake me on the A23 you could hear him screaming every last BHP out the little motor and the dump valve was wooshing in my ears while the old RV8 was hardly breaking into a sweat at 3000rpm LOL
I got quite embarrased a couple of weeks ago by a 4X4 Sierra cossie though, left me for dead and it was the best I could do to try and keep up let alone challenge him! Must have been at least 600BHP under the bonnet honest
Ive got the Cerbie now and the best fun I have is driving past chavs and watching them stop dead in there tracks and stare gobs wide open dribbling LMAO

Yesterday I had this minute little car hanging on my tail like a buzzing mossie, on several miles of nice big country road with sweeping bends.

The point being, he/she knew the road, and I didn't, and we were driving into the sun.
It pulled off into a house in a village along the way.

On my Manor, would've been different.
I'm cautious on strange roads.

I find that I'll pull up at a red light in the Transit and some oik will pull alongside in his chav-chariot, intent on not letting that old fart in the van clog up his progress.

Light goes amber, floor it; dump clutch on green and be across the junction before numb-nuts can say Rizla.

Turbodiesels, you have to chortle

You rotten devils........

Did none of you have a first car that was your pride and joy that you blinged up and on which you put a go faster stripe ..........

I suppose it's cos I can remember our Ford Anglia.....great piece of kit by the time Ray had finished with it..........

I suppose we were yesterday's chavs....

Our seaside town has it's share of boyracers. The town is a one way system in a circle and they just drive round and round the circle all evening.......

We always pop into town after a Meet to get a thickshake from BM....when we had the Cerb and now we have the Sagaris...they just stop driving and park up in the main street to watch the car go past

Course...Ray always does a couple of laps......

But, I suppose having kitted up a car in our dim and distant past and still guilty of doing it with our company car...I think differently towards the boyracer brigade.

They are only having fun, spending their own hard earned...my nephew's as proud as punch of his little fiesta which he has modded out very tastefully...no bits of string or tin foil

I'd love to be around when Valhalla goes out to nab a few....

No.

When I was a lad, it was enough that it had four wheels and went. There was scarcely any money left from my farcical salary for petrol, never mind bling.

Saturday mornings were spent in the scrapyard, trying to raid whatever bits your car needed to keep it going.

There was no easy credit to buy tat.

Shall I go on?
