TVR on Pimp my ride last night

In fact when he said he wanted a TVR, I nearly put mine up for sale...
Saw the one with the Mk2 Golf last night...god i didn't realise how big a penis Tim Westwood actually is! The guy was standing there insulting the poor lad's car to his face, FFS!!! Talk about no class.
The man is trying to be Xzibit, but with none of the charm or sincerity...and he looks about as genuine as Tony Blair down a working mens' club!
Well, that is the one and only time I'll watch the UK show...I can't afford to keep replacing the TV every time I throw something at him! Me and the missus were alternately in stitches or looking at each other in disbelief...why they didn't get Sacha Baron Cohen to do it I don't know...he'd have given it just the right amount of parody.

Saw it last night! The Griff looked immaculatly clean too. But was it worth all that time polishing, waxing, buffing just for 3 ses of TV appearance? Damn right!
Westwood was actually a decent bloke. Off camera he was easy to talk to and very likeable. In between shoots he was also very funny and made watching entertaining and the whole day worth while.
As soon as the camnera was on whe adopted his usual "dog" style but thats whats expected of him now.
Off air he did kinda spoof the whole character too so all the on air image is justa character and for fun.
I didn't used to like him but now I know what he is like off the air his radio show is a lot better to listen too.
I used to listen anyway though as I like the tunes and of recent have started to like listening just so i can laugh at the people that call in and are even worse at putting on the gansta character!
Also met with Jamie from Charisma. Interesting stuff that he does, he has done a few TVRs now too. Had a good look aound the gold Cerbera and the White 911. Amazing talent he has. The 911 really is a work of art, especially the interior.
I know you lot all slag off cars modified in this way but I like all aspects of petrolheadism. If I had the money I'd have at least one car from each category including dragster, hot rod, classic, track car, GT, race car(s!), and yes, even a max power project or two!

I went down to Colcester last month in my neighbours Lamborghini Countach for the filming of Pimp My Ride UK. Apparently it's going to be shown in two weeks time.
As soon as the cameras are rolling, Westwood jumps into his charactor feet first - it was good to watch.
End of the day he's a car nut; he had a sit in all the cars and seemed to be impressed.
He showed genuine interest in the Griff and had a good look around and asked me lots of relevant questions. He has a large collection of cars himself, all of which are large american cars!

Great for storing camping gear in though!! Keep my tent along with a selection of gardening implements in mine.
Safe to say my Apex roofed 7'x5' doesn't go quite as quick up the drag strip though.
Nice pictures, sure that 'super-duster' was in full swing. Reminds me, must get the web-site of you for that.
