I love the XT500. Old school but still a good ride.
When I was a teenage lad many many years ago there was a guy that used to turn up to our favourite local fields/wasteland on light summer evenings and often at weekends and he was on an XT, this was a great place to mess about on bikes. We as youngsters used to watch in awe and be totally amazed as this guy would speed through the ford and go across the hump-back bridge on the back wheel and carry on all the way to the top of the lane still doing a wheelie.
HAPPY DAYS.........
I heard from a mate a couple of years ago that this guy we used to idolize as youngsters now owns about 8 or 9 XT 500's.
And that by my reckoning is a right few quid's worth of bikes now.
