F10 M5 Air Con Condenser under warranty?

Got a F10 M5 with 75K miles and the BMW extended warranty. (forgot who provides it) Re gassed air con last year and it appears to be leaking, I understand the condensers have a known issue although not diagnosed it as that.

Is there any point in trying to get this done at a dealer under the warranty or is it less aggro to bite the bullet, get hold a one and do it myself?

ask the $tealers first see that they say, no point having a warranty and not using it unless its not covered

Mine was replaced under the approved warranty, no questions asked. I was told it was a well known issue.
