Leasing question on travel to the EU

Hi All,

I've found a lease deal through a broker and the finance agreement came through from Arval with a clause stating that the maximum period you are allowed to go in a trip to the EU is 28 days. Not great for me as I go away for 5/6 weeks in the summer holidays.

I queried it but I've not had a response in a week, has anyone had a similar issue where they have been able to amend the agreement?

They should be fine - make sure you get it in writing.

When mine sent me the VE103, they also confirmed that I could stay away for up to 90 days as long as I gave them evidence of where I was staying. I had some bookings, but not all - they were fine.

I never considered looking into it before I got the contract.

I looked around and most places specify 60-90 days so I must be unlucky that I picked the wrong one

Worst case I will have to start again with another provider.
