My small block is 407ci and they come bigger than that.

I can show you many vehicles that came stock with a 400ci engine.

The most recent vernacular for a Chevy (dad ) includes any SBC or LSx block that is bored, stroked, or sleeved, to any size. The largest I have seen is 457ci, which is a 4.2" bore and 4.125 stroke in a Darton sleeved, aluminum LS2 block. I am unaware of other manufacturers' maximum cubic inch capabilities in their "small" blocks.

www.furiousraceengines.com (or something similer) had a 482CID!!!!

this was with a dart tall deck block that had bin bored to the exstreme, but it was still a small block!!

also how about a 454cid that is the same dimmentions as a 350SBC?? then take a look at the engines shop.
