They are now saying a number of controlled explosions and are saying there is a real risk.

Apparently there have been three controlled explosions so far. The whole of the city centre has been evacuated (3 sq miles).

I'm following this one rather closely - i considered going into town tonight...

Tried to get home but ended up doing a tour of the city as a lot of roads were closed.

Sky news are reporting a controlled explosion on a Bus in Corporation Street.

The China Town area is now also being evacuated.

Evacuating Birmingham can only be a good thing. Let us pray that they send the evacuees to Wales.
