Go in close to a city, then use the zoom out button to do a continuous zoom right out into space.

We've been playing with this in the office for a while. Its hugely cool. But to be honest I think the application the commercial potential is Google Maps (also "Keyhole" technology???). When people have worked out what to do with it its going to be HUGE and make the Google boys tons and tons of money - well deserved.

Around 10meg I think.

Well worth it.

But you need at least 2k broadband for it to work afterwards as it is a realtime app. You also need a decent spec PC.

512k broadband is fine for this application, you just have a to be a bit patient.

Could someone give me the co-ords of the aircraft graveyards in the US? For the life of me i cant find one of the graveyards.

the detail you get in TOKYO is pretty great! but London is very poor! As for NY you get 3D buildings!
