Golf R Estate mk7.5 OR BMW E91 + Porsche Boxter
Discussion
Two are better than one. I run a 3.0 XF Sportbreak & a 2.0 MX-5 ND which cover both bases, the Jaguar is a lovely place to be & quick enough, but am now thinking of changing it for a high spec early Disco Sport. Problem with the Jaguar is it spells middle aged accountant... which I am but don't want to carry that baggage. MX-5 as we know on PH is simply the best car ever (with the exception of a 335D Touring)
E91 335i.... 300 ponies, rear wheel drive.
Boot is fine for my needs, e.g. lugging kids stuff about. Buggy could fit in the back depending on model of buggy. Can always stack high too. Think a buggy and dog would be a squeeze, just as the dog would probably would be on top of the buggy.
Split tailgate is brilliant addition to the car. I have 2 kids in the back, with my eldest sitting behind me and she’s got plenty of room (I’m quite long legged too).
I’ve not had any issues getting them in and out. Previous owner had a rear facing baby seat in there, and he had no issues space wise.
