I'm sure once people (idiots) start sticking those stupid Mmmmmm colour stips over the gargantuan grille it will be slightly more colourful than a baboon's arse. And equally as revolting.Think of it more of a Mandrill's arse.
It's the estate that looks most interesting. It could be the first modern M car that doesn't scream woodwork CSE or tower block. Could make for a good runabout wagon to see out petrol cars with.
Personally, I think the grille is absolutely fine. I don't love it quite as much as those who scream how much they hate it besides, as the driver it's the cabin space that's important and the Germans have a habit of making a total dogs dinner of the most important visual aspect to an owner. The interiors always seem absolutely fine for the normal versions but once you get to M pricing they simply aren't good enough for the money being asked.

It looks more and more like the "high revving" X3M engine wise, even with that extra 50Nm, I think some of us will tire of it quickly like the X3M that does not want to go into 8th gear till over the speed limit even in comfort.
With extra (it seems) engine/tyre roar , long journeys could be a pain.
I will test drive one soon but the M5 LCI will take some beating.
