Navigation app not loading ID7

Hi all,
Picked up my Alpina B3 yesterday, though the infotainment system is identical to that in the donor car (M340i) and therefore I presume all G2x cars. The issue I have is that the navigation system is stuck on the boot up screen, even after a couple of hours of driving yesterday and starting the car up today. The rest of the iDrive functions appear to work perfectly.
I’d like to troubleshoot as far as possible before considering taking the car back. A quick Google search doesn’t bring up a whole lot relating to the current version of iDrive. It’s not actually a massive problem as I’d probably end up using CarPlay anyway but it does eventually need to be sorted so I’d appreciate any thoughts you might have.

Fix for;
Nav stuck, map stuck, no location, no weather and 'phone(s) failing to re-connect in X4 M40d MHEV
With the engine running I tried holding the on off button in for 30 seconds, 40 seconds, 70 seconds and watched the iDrive restart numerous times, all to no avail, still lost
The fix was simple, using BMW download manager, got new map, unpacked it to a USB 3.1 stick. Rapid upload into the car, all working.
