LG OLED TV - bright green pixel

Just noticed a bright green pixel on my LG OLED TV that is especially visible on darker scenes. I've ran Pixel Refresher twice but it doesn't seem to help.
Is there anything I can do to rectify this?
The TV is just over a year old so I don't think I get any manufacturer's warranty left.

I have a white pixel on mine in the right lower sixth of the screen. Refresher has no effect. I have learnt to live with it.
LG do not seem to have high quality standards. Mine broke down after a month and they had it for several weeks before I got it back. Lovely though it is, I wouldn't buy again.

Even of the manufacturer doesn't offer any more than one year, the EU insist that six years for expensive electrical items. Just as well we didn't vote leave....oh...wait..Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

Bought in the shop at Currys/PC World, and I didn't take out their extended warranty.Shame as I really love this telly.

I also have a smaller non OLED LG smart TV and I must say that's been brilliant. You can't beat the price for the features that you get with LG.LG do not seem to have high quality standards. Oh, you mean like we had for years before the EU under the Sales of Goods Act where expensive things had a reasonable life expectancy? I believe this falls under the Consumer Rights Act now.Edited by Oakey on Sunday 7th March 09:34

Or even John Lewis with their free 5 year warranty.Might get Samsung next.

Samsung aftersales is infamously bad. Consider it as basically having no warranty.Might get Samsung next.
Found LG's support information ,12 months parts and labour.
Might give them a go, but have a feeling it's not going to be cheap.

Good luck but LG's dead pixel policy seems to allow a number of dead pixels before it becomes a warranty issue.
Having had previous experience with their warranty department, I didn't bother, I can live with one dead pixel.

Remember, towards the end of any conversation you have with them should they decline to investigate or repair under warranty, & before you mention any sale of goods act or DSR etc etc, that you insist they consider repairing “as a gesture of goodwill”.

Policy doesn't make sense as a consumer, by the time enough dead pixels are present most probably it's out of warranty period.
I suppose I can train myself to ignore it, suppose this is the risk with OLED TVs, like carbon ceramic discs they perform well but can be fragile...
