Well, you gave it your best shot, and you killed a lot of people. Well done. No really, I mean it, very well done.
You have awakened a Lion. And like all Lions we have big teeth and sharp claws.
Fear our roar! It is the roar of a people united in their resolve to not be cowed by your actions.
It is a community of black, white, asian, hispanic and arab alike. It is a church of Christian, Muslim, Jew, Sikh, Hindu, atheist and many more. We are one.
The Lion may be bloodied, but it is now filled with a terrible resolve and a mighty purpose. It's focus is on you and you will wither under its gaze.
Tremble cowards! For you cannot begin to imagine the power you have unleashed by truly uniting the peoples of this Great, UNITED KINGDOM.

If I was planning a surprise bombing attack on a capital city in the rush hour and 'only' killed about 40 people, I'd regard that as a major failure.
Not only cowards, but pretty useless cowards.
I was musing on different country's responses to terror. I suspect the Middle Eastern type happily dishes out fear and terror to achieve a goal, but equally will submit to it if faced with the wrong end of a gun. In short, that strategy works within that group of people. However, try it on a Western country and it has the opposite effect, solidifying and uniting against it. Another example: videos of beaten-up RAF pilots in the Gulf War didn't make us pull out, it engendered disgust and hatred and made us more determined to win.

Body count is not important, one death or injured has the same affect. Look at flying since 9/11 as an example.
We now all pay £2.50 "security tax" every time we fly plus we get to use plastic cutlery at the restaurants at the terminal and we get searched much more than before etc.

To future suicide bombers - your predecessors' souls are not enjoying the fruits of their promised paradise - their names are forgotten, the memory of them is dirt, their efforts futile, their families reviled, their cause hopeless, their graves are spat upon, their lives wasted. They are suffering eternal damnation in the fires of hell.

Nah, they're just compost. They'll be really pissed off to discover reincarnation doesn't exist... Well, actually they won't as they'll just cease to exist.

Well the nazis pulverised our cities for years and they still couldnt break our spirits so this bunch have got no chance so lets sweep up the mess and carry on,as for the suicide bombers we can beat them but weve got to be prepared for a few sacrifices of our own, in the meantime wev'e all got to be extra vigilant and assist the Emergency services who have done a cracking job so far.

Anyway, the bloke behind the camera asked some question or other and I just said "Al Qaeda can kiss my arse" and walked off. I heard him muttering something like "Oh for chrissakes, we can't use that...".
