Importing a TVR to Italy

Hi. Just looking for some advice. Has anyone had any joy in registering a TVR in Italy? I believe that it is quite expensive and complicated with a standard car. Would it be better to buy one in Italy? If there’s any for sale. Thanks.

It’s worth checking the local prices. Generally cars tend to be more expensive here. The procedure to get a a car imported and registered is lengthy but not too difficult.
