The guy's a bit of a clown IMO who shouldn't really be left to walk the streets on his own ...
Be interested to see the odds on him becoming the next Tory leader - are there any cos he if he does (he won't) they can wave goodbye to Govt in the next decade.

...Tick......tick......tick......tick......tick Yaaaaaw!!! .....Well, As much as I like the bloke, very entertaining, and he IS a very charismatic figure. I seriously doubt that he is the right man to stand alongside statesmen of other countries.........................................although?

I think it is about time for us to have a strong 'character' back in the lead. After all, look at Winston Churchill. Obviously I am not comparing Boris to Churchill, but as far as I am concerned, churchill was a right old character and equally abrasive as Boris, albeit in a slightly less 'eccentric' way.

But Churchill was unelectable both before and after the war. He was the right man at the right time but a crap peacetime politician really.

I wouldn't fall out with that cazzer, but I think there is more to Boris than is currently being attributed to him.
I like the bloke for his downright 'Britishness'which is a difficult thing to put your finger on....Probably something to do with being a bit eccentric, intelligent and not really giving a stuff about what others think, which I suppose can be a somewhat bad thing as a PM, but lets face it, can any politicians be trusted. I don't think they can that's for sure. Personally I would rather listen to a chap that does tend to tell it as it is than flowering it up with absolute nonsence and repeatedly ducking the questions.
Ah well, it won't happen but it's a thought.
Portillo - now he was another good one, not sure why he left but I was certain he would end up as the PM.

Isn't it a shame that the media will simply call him hin a 'posh toff' or similar and no-one will like him because he's well-spoken, intelligent and speaks an infinite deal of sense.
I suppose they'll have to get the bloke from the Big Brother voice-over (EET EE EMM) so the dumbed down masses will take them seriously
