Was supposed to have Michael Jai White in it originally, I wonder what happened. Also the original theme music was CAF - I hope they use it again. Trailer looks...OK I guess.

I'll watch it as I grew up playing the original game so it brings back some memories.

There type of films usually don't end up being great though

I think the MJW one was a fan made trailer they made quite a few years back.

On this trailer it looks good to me and I enjoyed the original film as it was close to the storyline of the game and had all the moves in it, unlike the mess that was Street Fighter.

Deffo watch this, some of the moves especially Sub Zeros effects look great.

The original Mortal Kombat film took over $124m on a budget of only $18m. I’d say that was quite a success.

I'd have to watch it again but I don't remember it being outstanding. Best video game made into a film for me is Resident Evil, just the 1st one.

Godzilla v King Kong is - may be worth asking in that thread if it came onto Amazon immediately. Its made by Warner Bros as well.
