I'm sure someone here can ID this scoot, it has been inside the Grand Union canal for years, but apparently is not the first time it was fished out!

Thanks guys.

Not sure.

Could be Vespa or Lambretta but in the last 20 years there have been Asian manufacturers that made cheap Italian look a likes.

Good Urban pic though.

Vespa small frame, looks to have a square headset that would make it a 50 Special.

Well done previous poster. Here's a pic, even the wheels are the same.

Actually the more pronounced curve under the seat made me look a little closer.

Perhaps a Sprint 150?

Awesome, thanks! Photo credit goes to a friend who restores Victorian steam machinery, the man has incredible knowledge.

Then you had to smash the front wheel against a kerb to get it somewhat straight again.

I've done that with a few motorbikes too.

Lol. BMX straight forks were a revelation.

A scooter expert suggests:

"Unibody, 10” open wheels, drum brakes, square headlight, removeable side panels, no glovebox, rounded horn cast.
Vespa VLA or VLB, leaning towards VLB, probably a 150 Sprint."
