That's fantastic, I enjoyed reading the thread about it, even though I'm not remotely "into" trains at all. It's remarkable.

Also, I really like that the comments in the DM are all so positive, in a world where the internet, regardless of the article or thread, turns into a massive bun-fight with critics around every corner.

I followed the original thread, written by the creator “simonspider”. It was only when I stumbled upon a YouTube vid of the completed model that I realised that it was Simon George. THAT Simon George; the chap with the 300,000-miles-plus orange Murcielago. Used to be a regular contributor to Evo magazine.
