£80k Budget, what mid life crisis car guys n gals?

Hey guys n gals, this is my first post. Hopefully when the lockdown ends and we can visit showrooms and have test drives again, I will be in the market for a sports car and have a budget of £80k, there are a few ideas in mind like Mercedes C63s, maybe E63s, M5 Comp, Panamera. Does anyone own any of these cars that can offer their views/opinions please, very much appreciated, or anything else I'm missing.

What are your criteria?
None of those are sports cars for example.

Yes I see that actually, speed and that exhaust note and in the cabin tech is quite important too, would like the Panamera Tourismo turbo maybe, or not sure about the Taycan? The test drives will have to be a given as I cannot just buy without sampling each car. I just want a nice car that drives well and I can feel beneath my feet what's going on.

From that final line it sounds like you want a proper sports car rather than a big sporty saloon?

I'd be going Cayman GT4 personally.

It seems like none of those cars fit the bill. Do you need 4 seats? Is a 2+2 okay? Will a 2 seater do?
There are plenty of good cars around for £80k but whichever way you look at it there will be a compromise of some kind.

C63s coupe would be a good shout, if you need a bit of practicality?

Some practicality is always good, the cars I have mentioned are briefly what I have seen for the budget , the c63 is cheaper than the rest. I definitely don't want a stand alone 2 person car, so for sure some level of practicality.

Secondhand C63s’s have risen in value during lockdown.

yes for sure, it sounds awesome too doesn't it, not sure if another car at that price sounds as good, I know myself I will need to drive any that I will look into more thorough, just wondered what owners of these cars thought, always good to have fellow petrol heads opinions. the caveat for me I think will be having to possibly go from a 19 plate to say a 18 or older, and the issue I have then is the dashboard and the technology in it, no perfect car after all is there?

I’d go for a Quattroporte or CLS63

Spend £20k on an original C63- and save £60k.

Original C63 wont depreciate any more and with the big capacity n/a V8 are more of an event and never to be seen again!

Corvette C6 ZR1 every bit as much a sportscar as everything else listed here mated to a legendary engine, the first one is the one to go for, I'd only go for the second if I was doing silly low mileage.

Non of those are mid life crisis cars! Buy any of them 12 months old and get a Westfield as well!

They would be top of my tree, Iv had a c63 is a nice daily car but I wouldn’t really say it’s super special not when comparing with a v10 r8.
