Ford Excursion - Whats it worth?

Hi!
I have been hankering over a dirty American cummins or powerstroke diesel for the past 10 years. Living in London however, means if I do want to own one of these bad boy engines, its basically now or never. ULEZ is coming into outer London from October 2021, so I have about 8 months to own one, and then I will have to sell up.
I went to view this bad boy today:

Its the Ford Excursion, with the behemoth 7.3 litre powerstroke. She sounded great, and whilst I really liked it, I want to know what it is realistically worth?
20K is IMO way too much. Its an 02 plate, with circa 85 on the clock. The interior has seen better days, but the exterior is in very good shape. I know that some smart aleck will say "Its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it" but I need to know whether its even in the correct ball park figure which I don't think it is.
I also would like to know if, after owning it for circa 8 months, it will be quite hard to shift on? Do trucks like this take time to sell? Do they sell quite quickly since they're so rare? Am I likely to lose much on sale?
I understand that it will drink like a fish, but its a once in a lifetime offer to scratch an itch I've had for years. I do want it, but I need to think this through properly first.
The seller said he had received quite a lot of interest from abroad, (Germany, Denmark etc) but due to lockdown the buyers won't be coming to see it just yet. The seller himself is NOT short of a few bob. He has tons of trucks, cars, motorhome, motorbikes and has ordered a new Dodge Ram from America to use for his 5th wheel motorhome.
Any suggestions, any ideas and feedback will be much appreciated!

ULEZ may seem like a relatively unimportant thing to people outside of London postal districts - however we are already seeing certain towns in the UK starting to bring-in similar schemes. I remember a few years ago when there was a change to congestion charge co limits applied to light commercial vehicles - van/truck owners with purchase contracts on relatively new vehicles were badly stuffed. If you read 'between the likes' on the TFL website and Khan's statement relating to the exemption for classic vehicles is has beeb recently changed to "for the foreseeable future" or somthing like that - implying that TFL could move the goalposts at any time. Consider carefully......

The closest comparator I can see on AT right now is a 2005 Expedition with 52k miles for 7.5k. On ebay there's a 2008 Yukon XL with 80,000 miles that's asking 11k, and a 2005 Suburban with 70,000 miles that's asking 9k.
This Excursion is almost 20 years old, and sounds tired. 20k says the seller's been sniffing glue.
Stating the bleedin' obvious: one of these plus London (ignoring ULEZ) are not going to make for a happy mix. It's not going to fit in any standard parking bay, whether on a street or (especially) in a car park. It will be like driving a 3.5t truck around. And that's leaving to one side the fact it is LHD.
I've driven one of these in N America, and its closest rivals by size (Chevvy Suburban and Yukon XL. Even over there outside of a city they feel huge. I completely get the desire to have something like this, but personally it's an itch I scratch outside the UK, because I am pretty firmly of the view that owning and driving one of these in the UK would not be that enjoyable.

I have no real worry about driving it around London. Yes obviously parking will be a nightmare in 9 out of 10 places, and most roads are small enough without having to drive a huge Yank Tank through them, but its only for a short time so I'll learn to live with it. It'll probably only really be a weekend car, and long distance cruiser. It'll make a great shag pad at the back. I won't need to pay for hotels anymore haha.
I just really want to enjoy that engine for 7-8 months.
There are two petrol engined Excursions currently on Ebay.

It's hard to gauge what these trucks are worth in the UK. In the US, prices are all based on condition and spec. My neighbor has a 5.4 liter that's got a few bruises and i would say that it's a $2-4k truck. Nice ones however are worth a lot more.
Especially if they have the 7.3 liter engine which is about as tough as it gets. If the mileage is genuine, I would say that they're not being unreasonable for a 7.3 with 85000. My 02 F350, also with the 7.3 has 350K miles and it runs like a freight train. I did 90 back from Memphis for about 400 miles with a trailer behind me carrying a Rolls Royce and I couldn't feel the trailer (until I hit the brakes of course

Later 6.0 diesel engines were more refined but had reliability issues that could lead to major expenses. The V10 gas engines are pretty good but suck fuel at an alarming rate and don't have nearly the towing capacity of the diesels.

I don't know how you can get 10MPG (Imperial) when I get more than 10MPG (US) pulling a trailer behind me in a bigger and heavier vehicle.
You can also get a tune on these engines that has a 6 position switch which would add 150hp to the engine on the highest setting and improve fuel economy.

Heavy foot, large engine and London town constant stop start traffic.
What do you get in an urban environment?
Anything with the 7.3 powerstroke & in good condition is going up in value, not so much in the UK, but in the USA an Excursion like this could make close to $30k. I'm actually considering shipping my F350 back there when I sell it later this year although if the pound keeps gaining on the dollar it might not work as well.....
