You're probably right (gnash, gnash), 22 bids and the reserve hasn't been met yet.
Still it felt good bidding all that dosh !!
Really glad you like the V8S, and it was a good piece in the mag; I'm enjoying my old 3000S.

Well, being driven round the block from time to time would hardly convince me that the engine had been well looked after.

As GreenV8s says, seals etc would be suspect, but I'd give top V8S money for it, i.e. 12.5K, and then have the mechanicals given a good going over by Steve/Trevor @ Thames Valley Racing....they look after my other cars u see.

Did it????!!!!
Watched the ebay auction - reserve not met - sale closed at £10,600.
So where does it go now?!
Hope the present owner, puts it on a trailer and brings it to Silverstone on Aug 14th, since he/she doesn't want to add the mileage on the clock!

Sorry to be pedantic, but check again at Ebay #4560632982; this shows a winning bid of GBP 15,000.00 ("Reserve met"; there were 27 bids (GBP 3,000.00 starting bid); Winning bidder ID is brook889 (105 feedbacks); Ebay Member since Jan-09-03; Location: United Kingdom; recent feedback shows having sold a Nissan Navara Pickup, so a V8S is a bit more like it !

I have sent the new owner a message so hopefully I hear back from him and we can get him to S Club heaven?

Apologies!
So it did make 15k in the end.

Well done Mike, It would be nice to see the motor IF the new owner will 'play', Besides it will make an angle for a story for Sprint about S Club Heaven!
