After much soul searching and advice on here I have stopped buggering around and bought something.
The back story is years of company cars, most recently an E220 AMG-Line on the MB retailer staff scheme, which had to go back as my company changed ownership so I lost that perk.
However, new company increased my car allowance, and allowed me to lease something or buy my own. I do c25k a year mileage, and every lease car was around £500pm which made no sense to me, so I bought.
I was going to get a 'sensible' Passat or 508, but I knew deep down that I would regret not getting a Jaguar. I know it's a boring engine but the 2.0d is fine for me.
2.0d R-Sport Black Edition, just 2 years old, 18k miles, with 19" wheels.
I think it looks good, it lands with me tomorrow.

Like that a lot!

I’ve always wanted a Jag but for some reason never actually gone for it.

It will be interesting to hear how you get on with it 👍

Not normally a fan of black cars, but that model does look good in it, nice interior too!

Thanks all.

Ref the interior, Red / Black wasn't my first choice, there was an exact same car available at another Jaguar dealer with Ivory / Black. That was my preferred option, but they wouldn't play the game with the price.

Wife and kids prefer Red / Black, it is growing on me too.

It will be nice to see it tomorrow.

The car landed with me a short while ago, delivered on a transporter.

I have to say I absolutely love it, the interior looks so much better in the 'flesh' than in pictures.

My wife says it looks like a boy racer car because of the black wheels, I think they really suit the de-chromed exterior.

I've had a quick drive, no squeaks or rattles which would really annoy me. The tech is user friendly enough and all synched to phones easily.

I'm a happy bunny!

Good stuff... and nothing like getting out for that first drive and seeing that it ticks the boxes... Enjoy..!

Looks nice - I love the interior.

I have to say I agree with your wife - black wheels on a black car is a bit much for me. I'd personally get them sprayed silver or grey - but each to their own. smile

Looks very nice.

Afraid when I was changing I only sat in a XF and didn't even drive one because the dash was awful

But if you like it then thats all that matters.

Recent one? I liked the dash in my 2012 but the later ones are a bit of a step backwards IMO.
