The wheels of action are in motion regarding future articles on porkers, including buyers guides, history etc.

Some new stuff will be appearing in the Porsche section, alongside the road tests etc in the future.

However my question to Porschephilacs and lovers of pork, is what sort of stuff would you like and find useful & interesting?

Info on the best Porsche specialists in different areas would be useful.
What modifications are worth doing, and which will bugger the handling/ride/performance - I need tyres at the moment, so a comparison of performance tyres would be nice...
Guides to relatively simple DIY jobs, bit like pelican parts stuff.

How about:

- Motec vs Hot Film on 964 cars

- A sniff around Henry's establishment to see if you can wind him up a bit

- A general 911 model history guide (3.2, 964, 993 etc) as we have some new members here and the old lags always talk in this bizarre model number language

- Buying guide to one or two models, but none of those poxy ducktail 70s things that the Porschephiles tend to get the kleenex out for, as they are for collectors eh?

I'd like some articles on which Porkers have the best rear seat room for those fast approaching dark winter nights down lonely back roads with Mrs Scottster...

I'd also like some information about how to make 964 RSs idle properly in the morning? I have one that wakes me up every bloody day cos the thing sounds like a JCB and keeps stalling - the owner for some apparant reason seems to think the best way to start it again is to start it and rev the arse off the poor Porker, waking me up in the process!!!!

The Henry wind-up sounds like a winner.

Your 964 did exactly the same, Mr Scott.

And when I get Motec fitted, the idle will be as smooth as swan lake.

You should be at work by the time I leave, anyway, you lazy sod

That will be the Cayenne, obviously - you could get a double bed in there! A "20 things you didn't know about Mrs Scottster" article sounds like it might be interesting though
