Starting with the above frame, I managed to convince a friend to sell, after many years of nagging him to let me buy it.

The frame was then mated with an ex GSE 109RS engine.

Some pics to get going...

Oh wow. How many of those Bursi frames exist? They had one on their website for a while, a few years ago now.

Oh nice thread to follow.

So what's the plan for this thing?

With great DNA, like the frame and RS motor, I do hope it's not destined for garage queen.

So many people doing so many special things with Ducatis, but that's something pretty unusual and rare. Looking forward to see how this comes out.

I use Microtec ECUs they are great bits of kit.

Bursi 998RS rad fitted. It proved to get in the way on the belt side and also couldn't come back far enough, so the wheel missed on suspension compression.

1098RS rad proved to be the way to go for clearance issues.

Thermostat also fitted, as I have found that the system takes a while to get upto temp without one.

Bursi airbox lower was used but needed modifying to allow the fuel tank to clear the airbox lid.

There is some more work done. Had it running. Needs dyno time .

Engine also has BSD gearbox. It will go to them for dyno set up.

The loom also incorporates the Aim Solo wiring.

1098RS qa throttle.

Akro exhaust modded to fit.

If you have one of these or a 57mm Termi, you only need to make the manifolds. All the other pipework fits as is.
