I had been on the full member waiting list for a long time, then in 2017 when they originally offered me fellowship membership I ignored it - eventually they offered me full membership, but having moved further away the benefit didn’t seem worth it anymore.

My wife recently surprised me with ‘fellowship’ membership. Has much changed over the years? Fellowship membership seemed like a con then and it still does now tbh. Full membership would definitely have been worth it if I still lived closer.

The full list of benefits is here: grrc-membership/benefits-comparison, ultimately only you can decide if it is worth it for you.

I am a full member but I wouldn't be if I lived further away from Goodwood; I would certainly join the Fellowship instead, if only for the streaming videos.

Fellowship is good for getting the members meeting tickets although I doubt that will happen this year.

I hope so!

I have joined as I am now in a position to attend more days out like this as the children are older, I am sure that the calendar will be light this year but the ultimate carrot of full membership still looks like my cup of tea and there's only one way to join, and enjoy years to come.
Plus it supports the whole event, which I think is marvellous.

I bought a fellowship last year, and it appears that it just rolls over and the collect the DD again, anyone confirm this, or do I need to buy it again?

It does roll over, so nothing to do on your part.

Rolls over. Caught me out actually, put one in my basket but it stopped me, wasn't sure why, it's because I'm already a member. Don't recall getting anything at all at renewal time.

So I go to redeem my gift voucher for membership and they STILL want to charge a postage fee. Goodwood has become such a money grab.

I would give them a ring, it sounds like a website glitch to me.

What's the wait time for full membership these days?

4-5 years I believe.
